As I’ve spoken about before, I will keep this content behind a paywall simply because it can elicit strong feelings in people with keyboards and it’s really important to me that this conversation is protected so that we can explore the nuance without fear of judgement. This morning, I took my fourth injection of Mounjaro, and I wanted to share my experience so far. There is very little open and honest discussion about Mounjaro and other weight-loss jabs like it. Most conversations focus on the negative aspects surrounding this medication - the dysregulation of providers, the impact on women’s mental health and body confidence and the horrific side-effects.
Instead, I’m going to share the things I’ve learned in no particular order and I hope that it’s helpful.
